Intermediate professional planning work involving project management, analytical tasks, report writing, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) within the Planning Division. Requires working with relative independence on technical matters within the scope of professional methods and procedures. Performs independent review of various proposals and applications, such as comprehensive plan text and future land use amendments, and site plans for consistency with the Comprehensive Plan. Work involves the application of planning principles and methodology in the formulation of various reports, studies, and projects. Work is performed under the general supervision of a designated supervisor and reviewed through conferences, reports, and results attained.
