Zoning Official

The City of Punta Gorda is seeking a Zoning Official. A supervisory professional position responsible for administering the City’s codes as they relate to property zoning, design, and maintenance standards. Responsible for administration, enforcement, and interpretation of Chapter 26 Land Development Regulations, Chapter 20a Subdivisions, and other applicable provisions of the City of Punta Gorda Code of Ordinances. Serves as chair of the Development Review Committee and reviews or supervises the review of all commercial development project plans as well as other projects involving personnel and other City agencies, departments, divisions, and programs in various phases of enforcement, plan processing, and administration.
